2018 Iota Iota Holiday Brunch

Our 2018 Iota Iota Holiday Brunch was a huge success. We welcomed new-to-the-neighborhood women and hugged familiar ones hello. Over too much food, both homemade and deliciously store bought, 10 of us dined and chatted about our family holiday plans, learned of shared collegiate holiday experiences and entertained ourselves with an ornament exchange. And though it wasn’t quite an ornament, one member offered a vintage Alpha Chi Omega music box (playing the Dream Cake song). Our very own Amanda Rich took that home.

During our short time together, we also hosted raffle. The raffle benefited the Children’s Home Society of Washington, North Seattle Family Resource Center. With our $32 raised, Iota Iota purchased ”Chicka Chicka Boom Boom”, “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?”, “Are You My Mother?” and “Mama Panya’s Pancakes” books. Well worth it! Our raffle winner took home a crafty desk-tree with lights created by our host, Michelle Hawes.

Thank you again to all who came and to our host, Michelle Hawes, for opening up your home to our sisterhood.
